I purchased these two chairs to go on our front porch. I had seen a magazine cover that had chairs and a small table with a tablecloth to the ground and it was so cute. One chair was $10, the other was $15 and the table was $1.00, which all came from the same thrift store but not all at the same trip. The tablecloth came from the super W store. My son and I painted them one afternoon. That was a
learning experience for both of us. Teaching him about having no drip marks and starting in one area before moving to the next. When they were all dried, his looked better than mine.
So this is my version of the cover. I still need to get some small accents and plants to place around but the larger items are coming together. Last week I showed the rocker on the other side of the porch. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Wow, the chairs look great painted black. Do you plan to add cushions? Maybe a red and white fabric would coordinate well.
Thanks for your comment! A small vegetable garden is not a lot of trouble...I mainly go to harvest things! It keeps me sane...because I start planning in January and start my seeds in March. It keeps the blues away. If you want trouble free you might want to start with squash, just plant and wait! I hope you visit again :)
Plop a couple white and red gingham or toile pillows in those chairs and sit back with a glass of sweet tea and admire the cuteness.
