It's Tablescape Thursday! Thank you to Susan over at
Between Naps on the Porch for hosting this event. Please click over
here and see all the beautiful tablescapes this week.

My dishes are Depression Glass in the pattern Adam. My parents started this collection for me while I was in high school and slowly added pieces and then gave it to me when I married. They did this for each of my siblings.

I love the square shape plates and the square foots on the goblet and glasses.

A close up of the plate. It was difficult to get a clear picture of the pink glass under my dining lights.

My flatware is what I registered for our wedding. It's Oneida and I can't remember the pattern name.

I love the salt and pepper shakers.

The pitcher is so pretty. I have many serving pieces that are displayed in one of my china cabinets.

The vase is in the same pattern and is holding Alstroemeria. These flowers will last a long time!

Thanks for looking at my tablescape. I appreciate your comments. And I wish all you a lovely Mother's Day!

I love depression glass. I wish I had some. When I was a teenager in the 70's I cleaned house for a woman who had a huge collection. I had to dust it every week. But I did so lovingly.
I love depression glass. My mother in law collects it and I just love all the pieces. What a nice idea to collect and give it as a gift. Good parents. Enjoy

Oh you lucky girl! I do love pink depression glass!
* I don't know much (or really "anything") about depression glass, other than the few pieces of colored glassware I've seen that has been SAID to be "depression glass"~~~ WELLL, NONE of it was NEAR as absolutely STUNNING as this, so I think YOURS TRULY I*S "the real thing" (& there must be alot of fake out there, or maybe, it's just "plain")... either way, I just ADORE YOURS!!!~~~
Thank you~ am sooo glad you shared this!!! And, what loving, thoughtful, generous AND SMART parents you have!!!~ Smiles!~
Warmest,

This depression glass pattern if expecially attractive. I to enjoy the square elements in the design.
